 Hello Friends! Wow, what a whirlwind...it is all so overwhelming, and interesting how much we can adapt to so fast; what was shocking two weeks ago is now becoming normal...
And the love...what a tidal wave of love y'all have hit me with! I have received so many notes and letters about how my family and I have effected so many people's lives, and I am deeply humbled and so moved. I have often felt like I spend most of my time alone in the woods, playing in the dirt with kids...unseen and having little impact on the greater whole. But the flood of memories that folks have shared with me are amazing, all the moments that touched another soul and helped them remember that we are connected and here for a purpose: to be magical, to be wild...to be free. And it has deeply landed with me that it isn't until the cold hand of death slides up our spines and comes whispering in our ears that we take the time to say these things to each other. And so I ask you to please tell those you love not only that you love them, but WHY you love them, HOW you love them!...loud and often, with great detail! Remember your favorite memories with friends, family, lovers... and then share those stories! This has been the greatest blessing to me, and I want you all to have this feeling...without the cancer! SO keep it coming...I am collecting all of the stories, memories, prayers and wisdom that folks send me into a book to reread again and again when I am feeling blue.
